Eldon "Cap" Lee grew up in Three Oaks Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University. Upon graduation from Eastern he settled into the teaching profession. He traveled to Milwaukee Wisconsin to accept a position in special education at Milwaukee Public Schools. He received a Masters degree from Cardinal Stritch College and Principals license from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
At MPS he immediiately realized the rules had to change. After teaching and becoming a school administrator at middle schools, high schools and alternative schools, he developed the Milwaukee Village School in 1995 which was accepted by Milwaukee Public Schools as a full public school with union support. This innovative school changed way we thought about education and inspiered Cap's 3 books.
As a teacher and administrator, he developed the necessary skills to help change education and is dedicated to this endeavor. He now continues his writing on a blog (a link is on this website).
